Join us on a spiritual and historical journey through time each month as you receive your Mission Saint of California. Each the patron saint of a California Mission built over a 100 years ago by California Indians and Spanish Settlers in the New Land. Each kit includes the pattern and all fabrics for a 4 1/2" x 16 1/2" finished size block. Designed by Elizabeth Whitehead. Enough fabric is included in each kit for either machine or hand turned applique.
This project is for advanced applique quilters.
Saint Agnes of Rome, a 13 year old Roman girl who was martyed in AD 304, is the patron saint of Mission Santa Ines Virgen y Martir. Hedr symbol is the lamb because of the similarity of her name and the Latin name for lamb, agnus.
